Will there be a reminder for the upcoming vaccine for my baby?

Another common question that users ask us is getting a notification for the next vaccination. The answer is yes. We have an in-app banner that notifies the user for the upcoming vaccine schedule of their baby.

At the same time, other forms of notifications via email, sms, and app notifications include alerts for the next pediatric consultation where the baby can receive the vaccine they need.

Can the Baby Book be exported to PDF?

One of the common questions from users of the NowServing Baby Book is the downloading of entries as PDF. While downloading to PDF is supported, you can only do so for the vaccine tracker entries. Growth trackers’ entries are downloadable to PNG File, while you can’t download the milestone trackers entries.

Most parents ask this question to convert this online baby book to a physical baby book. If that’s the plan, we recommend you to have a separate paper book instead of downloading and printing the entries from the NowServing Baby Book.

Can I add photos and writings in the digital baby book?

Another question we got from our users is if they can add photos and writings to personalize their baby’s baby book. Unfortunately, it is not supported in the NowServing Baby Book yet. At the same time, users can’t customize the design of the baby book based on their preferences. 

If you have thoughts or other narratives you want to include to make every milestone achieved more memorably, we suggest using your paper baby book for now.

Is it possible to edit the doctor’s entry or if the doctor can edit my entries?

On the other hand, this question from users is important to address too, and the answer is no. Parents cannot edit the pediatrician’s entry, and vice versa. That’s the design intended to maintain accuracy and legit findings from the doctor. 

Furthermore, to prevent confusion on the entries, the design intended in all trackers include a small bubble with the doctor’s photo. Thus, allowing you to easily identify whether or not that update is from you or the doctor.

Is it possible to track growth and milestones for premature babies?

Preterm birth is possible, especially if the parents have chronic conditions, vaginal bleeding, and other factors that led to early childbirth. Unfortunately, parents cannot use the NowServing Baby Book to track growth and milestones for preterm cases.

Make sure to consult with your baby’s pediatrician on how to properly assess your child’s development.

Can a medical doctor in the barangay health center update my NowServing Baby Book?

Other cases may happen wherein a parent visits a local health center for free immunizations for their baby. In that case, you cannot let that health expert access your baby’s baby book. What you can do instead is to inform your NowServing pediatrician about this outside session. 

You can also update the baby book on your end. If the session involved vaccination, just update which type of vaccine and the date your baby received the immunization. 

Can I access the baby book offline?

While you can open the baby book on your device without an internet connection, it doesn’t mean that you can access the full health data of your baby. At the same time, you cannot edit and save a new entry on the baby book if you update anything offline. It’s best to make sure that your internet connection is stable before opening and updating the NowServing Baby Book.

Tracking your baby’s weight and height is also essential to determine whether or not your baby is healthy. Data for height is recorded in centimetres, while weight in kilograms. Depending on the weight and height of the baby, the baby book tracker will provide findings which are based on WHO Child Growth Standards!

The paper baby record book is most crucial when it comes to the vaccines of the babies. Every appointment, the pediatrician will provide signature, and other details affirming the baby’s immunization on that day is done.

Furthermore, the paper booklet is often utilized as baby journals, photo albums, and keepsakes for parents as they include photos and other mementos upon every milestone. Currently, the NowServing Baby Book doesn’t support adding photos and signatures of the doctors after every check-up.

At the same time, every pediatrician keeps a separate Baby Book, so switching doctors means the new one starts empty. Only the paper booklet follows your child from clinic to clinic. In short, keep the paper baby book as the primary baby record book, and NowServing Baby Book as a supplementary baby record book.

How To Get A Baby Book on NowServing?

Unlocking this feature requires the following:

• The baby should be a confirmed patient of a NowServing Pediatrician
• Your baby should be added as a profile in your NowServing account
• Your baby should be 0-18 years old patient only
• The baby’s profile should be linked to your mobile number to be added as one of your profiles in the NowServing app

How to Book a Pediatrician for My Baby Using My NowServing Account?

Booking a NowServing pediatrician is easy, just follow these steps below!

• Open the NowServing app
• Find a pediatrics doctor to schedule an appointment
• Select “Book Appointment” button to start the booking process
• Fill-up the form with your baby’s personal information, and use your mobile number in the contact details
• Wait for the doctor to accept your booking

You’ll be able to access the NowServing Baby Book immediately once the doctor accepts your appointment. Tap the banner at the homepage of your app to open the baby book.

If your usual pedia does not use NowServing, browse the pediatricians and book one from there, or consult a pediatrician online instead.

No, this feature is totally free, and will remain free for usage on the NowServing app.

Where to find a baby immunization record book in the Philippines?

NowServing includes the immunization record tracker in the newly released app feature, NowServing Baby Book. The due dates are automatically calculated based on the birth date of the baby. This baby book follows the PPSI immunization calendar.

How to fill the digital baby book of NowServing?

You can fill the digital baby book on the app. Simply access the tracker you wish to add input on and the baby book will save that new entry. Take note that you don’t have to worry about deleting the doctor’s entry as there’s a design differentiation based on who added that entry. For example, you’ll be able to see a small image of the doctor in the tracker if they added that entry.

Is it possible to customize the design of my baby book with photos on NowServing?

Unfortunately, no. Customization of the baby book like adding designs, photos, and others are not yet supported in the NowServing Baby Book. We’ll give you an update once it is available.

Can I use the NowServing Baby Book like a scrapbook for keepsakes?

No, currently there’s no supported action for customizing or designing the baby book on the NowServing app.

Can I get a physical copy of the immunization of my baby from the NowServing Baby Book?

You can export the vaccination records of your baby to a PDF file, and save it to your device. This allows you to print your baby’s immunization records and have a physical copy when needed. However, if the purpose is for school enrollment or travel, this PDF file alone may not suffice. It’s best to still refer to your paper baby book for such requirements to present a complete health record of your baby.

Is there a printable template for the downloaded PDF file of my baby’s immunization records?

No, there’s only a standard template from NowServing, which you can see once you’ve downloaded the PDF file to your device.

What happens if I skip the vaccine for my baby?

If you decided to skip the scheduled vaccine of your baby, your doctor can mark “skipped” for that specific vaccine on your baby book. However, you can still ask the pediatrician on your next visit to determine when’s the best time for your baby to take that skipped dosage.
