Lymphoma
Lymphoma is a type of cancer that affects the lymphatic system. This system helps to filter and transport body fluid throughout the body, including blood. Lymphomas can develop when these systems become dysfunctional and allow abnormal cells to multiply unchecked. Symptoms of lymphoma may include fever, night sweats, feeling tired all the time, weight loss or gain despite dieting, anemia (low red blood cell count), swelling in one or more joints, difficulty swallowing or breathing deeply due to enlarged larynx or chest pain caused by obstruction of air flow from lungs. Early diagnosis is essential for successful treatment and most patients respond well to medication and/or surgery if diagnosed early enough.
